What is Pin Code?

PIN Code is the code in the post office number of the postal code system which is predominantly used in the India Post to segregate the mails. In PIN Code first digit of a PIN indicates the zone and the second indicates the sub-zone, and the third and first two together indicates the sorting district within that zone. The final three digits point to individual post offices of that district.
